Movement, Meditation and the Moon
Beginning Sunday, April 11th at 6:00pm for the Aries New Moon

Each two hour event will combine movement, breath, meditation, and journaling around the current Lunar Phase. These sessions will be offered In person and virtually, with a limited number of in person spots available. The event will be recorded and can be viewed up to 72 hours after the event ends. Participants will also receive a meditation recording to use at home, during the subsequent Full Moon. Preregistration is required.

Amberly Kelley-Dotson, E-RYI, YACEP has been teaching yoga since 2016 and has continued her study and education by attending multiple therapeutic and trauma-informed trainings. She has a background in psychology and recreation therapy and is currently pursuing her 500-hour training through the American Viniyoga Institute. As a queer woman, she is passionate about inclusivity and accessibility and is always learning and growing. Amberly approaches both yoga and life with a breath-centric approach, heavily influenced by Viniyoga, and the teachings of Christina Gerdes, Gary Kraftsow, TKV Desikachar, and many others. She views the body, mind, and emotions as part of a holistic system and addresses it as such.
Christina Gerdes, E-RYT-500, YACEP was introduced to yoga in the early 90’s and since then has completed two 500 Hour Teacher Trainings, taught over 2200 hours and has been a member of the Yoga Alliance since 2006. She has created a 6-Disc DVD yoga video set, hosted workshops, retreats and special events throughout the Southeast and West Coast and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Christina continues to study under Gary Kraftsow, Mirka Kraftsow, and Leslie Kaminoff, as well as many other teachers.
