Jennie has been laughing at herself (practicing yoga) for more than 20 years. Her goal is to share this great gift with as many people as possible! Through her many travels, she has experienced an array of yoga styles and different instructors around the world. Her training is rooted in Ashtanga…aaaaannnnnd yet Jennie adores stirring her own blend of colors into every class. She sees each practice as a blank canvas with the opportunity to paint any picture you want. This is, after all, your practice. Jennie has a deep passion for animals, health and nutrition, and she’s super stoked to bring Ashtanga Morning Yoga to Breezeway Sundays at 8:30am.

Ashtanga Yoga is the dynamic harmony between breath and movement, flowing through a progressive series of postures that warm the body internally and ultimately detoxify the muscles, connective tissues and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. This class will focus on various asanas from the classic Primary Series in their correct and safest order alongside pleasant meditative music. Looking to be more grounded and balanced? Looking to achieve both strength and flexibility? Looking to practice in a safe open-minded environment? Then Ashtanga Morning is for you. Come challenge yourself, have fun, and laugh with Jennie!

Private sessions available in your home or choice of location. Jennie also teaches private yoga instruction at our sister studio —Balanced You Studios on Bearden Hill. She offers a variety of styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Gentle and Chair.

Jennie teaches “Ashtanga mornings” each Sunday at 8:30 AM at Breezeway.
